Lanes Reopen On I-680 In Concord After Rollover Crash: CHP

The Willow Pass Road freeway onramp was briefly closed because of the collision.

CONCORD, CA — A rollover collision caused injuries and was blocking all lanes of northbound Interstate Highway 680 Tuesday morning in Concord, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The crash was reported just after 8:45 a.m. near the Willow Pass Road onramp to northbound I-680, where a minivan collided with a sedan and overturned.

An ambulance responded, indicating at least one person suffered injuries that required hospitalization.

Concord police shut down the freeway onramp and directed traffic around the incident.

Within about an hour, however, all lanes were reopened, CHP reported.
