A half marathon may cause some traffic delays in Concord on Saturday morning.
The 13.1-mile Walnut Creek International Half Marathon begins at 7 a.m. in Civic Park. There is also a 5K race.
The runners will come into Concord on Treat Blvd, turn right onto Cowell Road and then go back to Walnut Creek on Ygnacio Valley Road.
Lanes will be closed off for the racers. Concord Police said drivers should expect to experience traffic delays and road closures between 6 a.m. and 11 a.m.
