Motorcyclist Killed in Crash Was Concord Man
The coroner's office has identified Michael Peters, 39, as the motorcyclist in a crash on Kirker Pass Road Sunday evening.
The Concord man killed in a motorcycle crash on Kirker Pass Road Sunday evening has been identified by the coroner's office as 39-year-old Michael Peters.
The crash was reported at 6:27 p.m., east of Concord on Kirker Pass Road near Hess Road. This rural, windy stretch connects Concord with Pittsburg.
A passerby stopped to assist the rider, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crashed bike blocked a middle lane of Kirker Pass Road until the scene had been cleared.
