Obituary: Rodney K. Massa Promoted To Glory

Rodney Kermit Massa was born on Dec. 31, 1974 in Clarksville, Tennessee and was promoted to glory on Oct. 10, 2019 in Richmond, California.

Growing up in Oklahoma City, Rodney loved to camp, fish and garden. He graduated from high school and started working in the construction field. He met and married Michele Wise and their daughter, Stephanie Massa, was born on May 21, 1996.

Rodney met Jessica Harmon in 2002, and his son, Tyler Austin, was born Oct. 28, 2003 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He then moved his family to California to be close to Jessica's father's family and they had two girls; Kristina Marie on Sept. 21, 2005, and Ashley Lynn Denise on Dec. 12, 2007 in San Francisco. He loved his kids, always ready to cuddle and spend time playing with them.

He leaves behind his mother, Janetta Jackson of Norman, Oklahoma; his two ex-wives, Jessica Harmon of Concord, and Michelle Wise of Oklahoma; his four children, Stephanie Massa of Bethany, Oklahoma and Tyler, Kristina and Ashley Massa of Concord.

Rodney's memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, at The Salvation Army Concord Community Church, 3950 Clayton Road, Concord. We invite all those who desire to celebrate his memory to attend.
