Onstage Theatre Presents Anton Chekhov's "Cherry Orchard of the Living Dead"
Recently Unearthed and written by Troy Heard and directed by Randall Nott ~~ "An uproarious horror romp" --Las Vegas Weekly

Borrowing Anton Chekhovβs afflicted characters of The Cherry Orchard, playwright Troy Heard has put them into this high camp hilarious comedy. Set in 1904, they become both victim and survivor as it seems someone has buried some very dangerous material in a nearby cemetery. One can only hope that they do not become Zombie fodder in this mad-cap monster mash-up, as the story continues.
The comedy was first produced in Las Vegas and was directed by the playwright. It received many accolades. This is where director Randall Nott became familiar with the play while he attended one of the performances. He knows it would be one that Onstage would like to produce and one our audiences would enjoy.
Actors include Edwin Peabody as Dr. Turgenev, Siobhan OβBrien as Polina Raneveskaya an actress, Anne Baker as her daughter Arkadina, Dawn Day as Anfisa an ancient maid, and Michael Wedgley as the tutor Trofimov. Other characters are played by Danny Reichert, John Harris, Ryan Terry, and Nolan Mecham.
