Sweeten the Life of a Senior This Pi Day

Every March 14th, math lovers around the world celebrate Pi Day. Pi is the mathematical constant π (3.14), which is the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. Another recent tradition added for Pi Day is to eat pie!

In celebration of Pi Day, and to help vulnerable seniors who are food insecure, Meals on Wheels Diablo Region will give a gift certificate you can use toward a pie or anything else, compliments of Raley’s Supermarket, to anyone who makes a donation of $100 or more to MOW Diablo Region between March 1st and March 14th!

For the past year, MOW Diablo Region has been delivering meals to 40% more seniors. We are keeping those we serve nourished, safe, healthy, and living at home with dignity during these difficult times. Because the need is so great, we depend on the generosity of our donors more than ever, and with the support of Raley’s Supermarket, we thought we’d sweeten the opportunity for you to donate!
