CONCORD, CA - A Veterans Day ceremony, sponsored by VFW Post 1525 and the cities of Concord and Clayton, will be held Friday, Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. at Willow Pass Park, 2748 East Olivera Road in Concord.
The ceremony will be followed by the 4th Annual Veterans Day Invitational Softball Tournament at the Willow Pass softball fields.
The tournament will include 12 teams with a minimum of 10 players per team. At least half of the team members must be veterans or active duty. To register, contact Nathan Johnson at Nathan.Johnson@bs.cccounty.ur or (925) 313-1481.
