Video: Coronado Removes Shrubs to Improve Sidewalk Access

Public Services crews will begin work Wednesday to remove shrubs from five planters in the 100 block of Orange Avenue to improve sidewalk access and street views.

The removal of the Indian Hawthorn in the base of the tree planters was directed by the City Council at a meeting on Jan. 15. The planters also contain up to two palm trees. The trees will remain.

The work will begin at about 7:30 a.m. and take most of the day to complete, said public services supervisor Jess Culpeper.
