Beach Warning: Rip Currents, Big Waves Through Wednesday
The heavy surf should continue through mid-day Wednesday.

A high surf advisory was in effect Tuesday in Coronado and from Point Loma on down to Imperial Beach.
The National Weather Service issued the advisory from 2 this morning to 2 p.m. Wednesday, saying beach-goers could expect to see frequent 5- to 8-foot waves and in less frequent instances, surf over 8 feet.
“The large set waves will be infrequent, but wash well up the beach and over most jetties,” an NWS advisory said.
