City of Coronado Turkey Coloring Contest Begins October 3rd
Coronado Students Turkey Coloring Contest Kindergarten through 5th grade

The City of Coronado, along with the Coronado Junior Woman's Club, presents their annual TURKEY COLORING CONTEST. Open to all children grades K-5, this fun activity gives you an opportunity to show off your creative side by dazzling us with a colorful display of your talents. The turkeys all got together and decided their contest was a more informal affair so this year the rules have been changed, so pay close attention as Turkeys may not be glittered, embellished, feathered up or painted. They wish to be adorned sticking to good old fashioned coloring techniques using crayons, markers, or colored pencils only, so get creative and... COLOR!.
You may pick-up coloring forms starting NOW at the Coronado Community Center at 1845 Strand Way M-F 6am - 9pm, Sat. 8am - 6pm and Sun 10am - 5pm. The contest begins October 3rd. Make certain your feathered friends fly in by October 24th. Winners will be judged by City of Coronado staff, then the winners will be invited to appear at the November City Council Meeting on Tuesday November 7th to receive their prizes.
One entry per child, Kindergarten - 5th grade accepted. If you have been a big winner before, it is time to give someone else a chance so prior year winners are not eligible for prizes.
