Coronado Area Gas Prices Continue To Drop
"AAA expects to see gas prices trend cheaper through the year-end, decreasing as much as 20 cents for some motorists before year-end."

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA – Gas prices across the country continue to decline, including in San Diego County, with December just around the corner.
The national average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline is $2.499 Wednesday, down from $2.526 one week ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. Although gas prices in California are among the most expensive in the country, prices also continue to drop across the state.
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped two-tenths of a cent Wednesday to $3.199, decreasing for the 15th time in 16 days. The average price has dropped 7.8 cents over the past 16 days, including six-tenths of a cent on Tuesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

"AAA expects to see gas prices trend cheaper through the year-end, decreasing as much as 20 cents for some motorists before year-end," AAA spokesperson Jeanette Casselano said.
The average price in San Diego County is 2.4 cents less than one week ago, but 14.4 cents more than one month ago and 47.4 cents higher than one year ago.

The average price dipped for 13 consecutive days, rose two-tenths of a cent on Monday, then resumed dropping on Tuesday.
