Patch Pet: Chelsea

Chelsea, a unique mix, was given up by a family transferred from the area.

Chelsea, a sweetheart of a girl, was relinquished to the Coronado Animal Care Facility along with pal BamBam, by a family being transferred out of the area (and was unable to take the dogs).

She appears to be a spectacular mix of Westie with a bit of Lhasa Apso blended in with some Shih Tzu. Chelsea is an independent free spirit that ambles along and goes with the flow of activities at hand. She takes time to stop and smell the roses, everything being on “Chelsea time.”  She has a calm, curious and observant personality, interested in everyone and everything that crosses her path. She gets along with other dogs, but it's not known yet how she reacts to felines.

Chelsea's stats: Female Westie/Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu mix, 2 years old, 12 lbs., spayed and up to date on all vaccinations, microchipped, adoption fee, $125

Other pets are available for adoption at the Coronado Animal Care Facility, 1395 1st St. Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., everyday but major holidays. To check out other animals needing homes, please view our websites: pawsofcoronado.org and petfinder.com.
