Don't Miss the Fireworks in Coronado Wednesday

Kick off the holidays in Coronado with the Hotel Del Coronado's Hotel Festival from to 4 to 7 p.m., Wednesday.

The Holiday Festival will have many holiday-themed activities including a visit from St. Nick, seaside ice skating, holiday booths with games, Christmas carols, hot cocoa and libations, and of course... fireworks!

The fireworks are scheduled to go off at 6:15 p.m. We hope the weather holds out. As on Monday afternoon, the National Weather Service forecasted a 20 percent chance of showers on Wednesday night.

Many of the activities are free. 

Ice skating is $23 for adults, $18 for children ages 10 and under. A portion of the skating proceeds will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of San Diego.
