Giardino Neighborhood Cucina Coming to Lemon Grove

Giardino Neighborhood Cucina, the first restaurant concept from married couple and restaurant veterans Karina Kravalis and Marco Provino, will open its doors this fall to the Lemon Grove community, offering Italian-inspired cuisine in a comfortable and relaxing setting.

Marco, the Sicilian born Executive Chef most recently from Osteria Panevino and Osetra, has designed menus that will showcase classic dishes using timeless techniques found throughout Italy. Expect wood fired pizzas, fresh, local seafood, house pastas and sauces, and Italian cured meats and cheeses. Karina, who has an extensive background in the hospitality industry with over a decade of experience, will manage the front of the house and daily operations. She’s also taken on the beverage menu, which will feature wines from well-known regions, as well as local and Italian draft and bottled beers.

The design of Giardino, which means garden in Italian, will boast beautiful, yet modest, indoor and outdoor spaces to gather with friends and family. Large, vintage-style floral prints will adorn the walls. Bright and clean accents of white marble will be balanced by iron elements and rustic wood. Cozy side and back patios full of greenery will offer quaint seating for al fresco dining.
