There, it was given a warm place to recover, along with fluids, nutrition and blood tests to ensure it was safe to reenter the wild, according to the release.
The owl was released at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday in Spreckles Park, which is near where the bird was first found sick. The humane society said its goal was for the owl to perch in a tree and sort out her home territory.
