Noise Alert: Naval Base Coronado Conducting Training Exercises
Hear noises? The Navy is conducting diving and small boat operations this week.
CORONADO, CA – It might get noisy this week due to military training exercises, the U.S. Navy announced Wednesday.
Naval Base Coronado is conducting dive operations in the area of Naval Amphibious Base Coronado and San Diego Bay. The training exercises will take place from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.
The base is also conducting small boat operations in the area of the Silver Strand Training Complex and Naval Base Point Loma from 6 a.m. to midnight through May 5.

"The Navy recognizes the importance of being good neighbors with the local communities and makes every effort to abate noise when possible," an announcement said.
Noise complaints can be made online at the base's website.
