One-Time Coronado Resident Barbara Teets Dies at 73

Barbara Teets, a long-time Central California resident who once lived in Coronado, died July 10, according to Legacy.com. She was 73.

The Beta Sigma Phi member maintained life-long relationships through the sorority and supported the arts while enjoying travel.

She and her late husband Rod resided in Coronado in the 60s while he was in the Navy. They moved to San Jose in 1965 and to Arroyo Grande in 1998 after their retirements. 

Services for the mother of three were held Saturday.
