CULVER CITY, CA — Apple plans to add more than 3,000 jobs in Culver City and expand its state-of-the-art campus for these employees, the company told Patch Monday.
"Apple’s investment in Culver City shows once again that we live in one of the most desirable places on earth," Culver City Mayor Alex Fisch said in a statement.
"We’re a city that will work hard to ensure that the benefits of our success are broadly shared, and I look forward to the opportunity to demonstrate that inclusive growth is possible," Fisch said.

Apple's new Culver City offices at 8777 Washington Boulevard, near National Boulevard, just across from the Expo Station, have not opened yet. The site has been under construction since 2018.
The company also plans to expand its teams across the state and now expects to grow its San Diego team to more than 5,000 employees by 2026, which is a 500 percent increase from its 2018 goal.
Apple supports more than 2.7 million jobs across the country through direct employment, spending with U.S. suppliers and manufacturers, and developer jobs in the thriving iOS app economy, according to the company. It is the largest taxpayer in the U.S. and Apple has paid almost $45 billion in domestic corporate income taxes over the past five years.
