This Culver City Burger Joint Named One Of 'Best In LA'
Top chefs picked a dozen restaurants that serve the best burgers in LA – and one is from Culver City.

CULVER CITY, CA – Since the first In-N-Out Burger opened in Baldwin Park in 1948, hamburgers in Los Angeles have only gotten better, fancier, and more creative. Bloomberg asked chefs and restauranteurs across two continents to name their favorite 12 burger joints around the LA area, and one of the dozen crowned "best burgers in LA" is located right here in Culver City.
The best hamburger in Culver City is from Howard’s Famous Bacon & Avocado Burgers – sounds like it definitely earned the title. This hamburger was recommended for the list by Liz Johnson, former chef of Freedman’s in Los Angeles. Her favorite order is the Famous Burger with onion rings.
“It’s a flat patty served with creamy avocado and crisp bacon, plus ranch dressing and spicy peppers.” Johnson said. “It is just delicious.”
