Culver City Council Race: Vera, McMorrin, Eriksson Take The Lead
Vera, McMorrin, Eriksson are in the lead, according to the Los Angeles County Registrar Recorder's Office as of late Monday.

CULVER CITY, CA — The race for Culver City Council is not over yet. As ballots continue to be counted several candidates are in the lead as of Tuesday morning, including Albert Vera, Yasmine-Imani McMorrin, Goran Eriksson, according to preliminary election results from the Los Angeles County Registrar.
Nine candidates are vying to fill three open seats on the city council.
Vera is leading with 10,348 votes, then McMorrin with 10,194 and incumbent Eriksson with 8,426.

Freddy Puza has 8,41 votes, followed by Darrel Menthe with 7,662, Heather Wollin with 3,767, Khin Khin Gyi with 2,954, Robert "Mr. Z" Zirgulis with 2,070 and Anthony Rizzo with 1,343.
Culver City had 29,094 registered voters. According to the county, 16,114 Culver City residents voted by mail and a total of 19,471 cast their ballots.

Many voters cast their ballots by early voting or mail-in voting due to the pandemic, with more than 9,155 Culver City voters already submitting their ballots before Nov. 3.
