Real-Time Results: Kent Leads In Culver City School Board Race
Kelly Kent leads in the Culver City School Board election, followed by Paula Amezola de Herrera and Scott Zeidman.

CULVER CITY, CA — This story was updated at 10:46 p.m.
Culver City residents have chosen which candidates they want to represent them on the Culver City Unified School District School Board with incumbent Kelly Kent in the lead Wednesday with preliminary reports showing 9,169 votes, followed by Paula Amezola de Herrera with 7,845 and Scott Zeidman with 5,004 votes. Anne Allaire has 4,026 votes. (Scroll down for results.)
Tiffany Spellman has 2,507 votes and Lauren Jagnow has 2,196 votes.

Many voters had already cast their ballot prior to Tuesday via early voting or mail-in voting due to the pandemic, with more than 9,155 Culver City voters already submitting their ballots as of Oct. 22. According to LA County, Culver City had 29,451 registered voters prior to Election Day.
Voters were asked to decide who fills two open Culver City School Board seats. Six candidates were running for the positions.

These six school board candidates were on the ballot:
- Lauren Jagnow - Student advocate, parent
- Paula Amezola de Herrera - Advisor/Epidemiologist/Commissioner
- Tiffany Spellman - Educator
- Kelly Kent - Board member, neuroscientist
- Anne Allaire - Board member, teacher
- Scott Zeidman - Father, businessperson
