Culver City School Board Election 2020: 2 Seats Open
Voters will head to the polls Tuesday to vote for two of the six candidates vying for a spot on the Culver City Unified School Board.

CULVER CITY, CA — Culver City residents will choose Tuesday which candidates they want to represent them on the Culver City School Board of Education.
Many voters have already cast their ballot via early voting or mail-in voting due to the pandemic, with more than 9,155 Culver City voters who have already submitted their ballots as of Oct. 22. According to LA County, Culver City currently has 29,451 registered voters, so about 31% have voted.
Voters will decide who fills two open Culver City School Board seats. Six candidates are running for the positions.

There are also three City Council seats to be filled and two Measures on the ballot. The terms expire in four years and nine candidates are running for the open seats.

These are the six school board candidates on the ballot:
- Lauren Jagnow - Student advocate, parent
- Paula Amezola de Herrera - Advisor/Epidemiologist/Commissioner
- Tiffany Spellman - Educator
- Kelly Kent - Board member, neuroscientist
- Anne Allaire - Board member, teacher
- Scott Zeidman - Father, businessperson
