Downtown Tree Lighting Sled-Tacular
- WHEN: 5 to 8 PM on Thursday, December 5
- WHERE: Town Plaza - Outdoors, at the intersection of Culver Boulevard and Van Buren Place (9400 Culver Boulevard)
The City of Culver City’s Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services and Culver City Downtown Business Association are combining forces to create a grand holiday kickoff celebration that is free for all to enjoy.

Multiple transportation options are available to attendees, including: the Culver City Bicycle Coalition's bike valet, Culver CityBus, walking or driving. Drivers can find parking at City lots on Cardiff and Watseka (first hour is free) and The Culver Steps complex or take advantage downtown's universal valet parking system.

- 5-8 PM: Guests can enjoy inflatables for kids, performances by local community groups, a life-size snow globe, snow sledding, carnival games from Culver City’s Kiwanis Club and Joymode, a photo-op station, a treat station and live performances
- 6 PM: The tree lighting ceremony begins
- 6:30 PM - Santa Claus arrives
- 8 PM - Many downtown restaurants will offer special dinner offers
Senior Center Holiday Party
- WHEN: 11:30 AM on Friday, December 13
- WHERE: Senior Center (4095 Overland Avenue)
Culver City Senior Citizens Association (CCSCA) members are welcome to partake in this annual celebration with lunch and live entertainment. Tickets can be purchased for $5 each (on sale November 26-December 11 or until sold out).

Culver City Fire Department Spark of Love Toy Drive
- WHEN: Now through December 24
- WHERE: Culver City Fire Stations
The Culver City Fire Department (CCFD) is collecting toys at all three fire stations in support of the Spark of Love Toy Drive.
As part of the greater Southern California campaign, CCFD is collecting new, unwrapped toys and sports equipment for underserved children and teens in and around Culver City. Feel free to donate toys and sports items at any of our three fire stations:
- Station 1 – 9600 Culver Boulevard
- Station 2 – 11252 Washington Boulevard
- Station 3 – 6030 Bristol Parkway
One Incredible Family Annual Christmas Caroling
WHEN: 2 to 4:30 PM on Sunday, December 15 and Sunday, December 22
Volunteer your voice to sing seasonal songs and yuletide carols, shake sleigh bells and connect with our Culver City seniors. No singing skills are required, but seasonal clothing is!

Didi Hirsch Annual Toy Drive

- WHERE: Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services (4760 South Sepulveda Boulevard)
Help Didi Hirsch reach its ambitious goal of giving a toy to all of our clients’ children! Donate unwrapped toys for younger children or donate gift cards/movie tickets for adolescents!
