Dispensary Looks To Hire Locals In Culver City: Report

CULVER CITY, CA — Sweet Flower, Los Angeles-based chain of cannabis dispensaries, is looking to hire local residents to staff its next store, which is coming to Culver City in 2021, Pasadena Now reports.

A hiring evenPt is scheduled for 10 a.m. on July 9 at 827 E. Colorado Blvd in Pasadena, according to the report.

Sweet Flower CEO Tim Dodd told the publication he aims to hire locally, with a focus on hiring minorities.

According to its website, “Sweet Flower is committed to giving back to the communities it serves, to operating openly and transparently, and to hiring inclusively and diversely.”

The website states that of the company’s 120 staff members, 80 percent are African American or Latinx.
