Drive-By Shooter Sprays Culver City Neighborhood
Detectives investigating mysterious bullet holes Wednesday found several homes that had been hit by bullets.
CULVER CITY, CA — Gunfire rattled Culver City residents this week when at least one suspect drove through a neighborhood and opened fired on several homes. An ongoing search for the unidentified suspects continued into the evening Wednesday after investigators uncovered bullet holes in multiple homes.
Officers responded to the 5200 block of Slauson Avenue at about 11:25 a.m. Wednesday to investigate reports of bullet holes that were found in a home's garage and interior walls, according to the Culver City Police Department.
Officers and detectives canvassed the area and located two other residences that had been damaged by gunfire. Witnesses told investigators they saw a light-colored newer model sedan drive through the area between 4 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. on Monday, firing multiple gunshots at the homes.

Police searched for potential gunshot victims but found none.
An investigation into the shooting was ongoing and anyone with information was asked to call Assistant Chief Jason Sims at 310-253-6391 or the watch commander at 310-253-6202, and reference report #21-0001836.
