FeedCulver Serves More Than 30,000 Meals To Food Insecure Locals

Culver City locals have received more than 30,000 meals in the pandemic through the city's FeedCulver program.

CULVER CITY, CA — FeedCulver started as a simple idea: neighbors helping to feed neighbors in Culver City.

It now goes beyond helping neighbors struggling with food insecurity in the pandemic — the organization helps feed neighbors, keeps restaurants in business and works to rebuild the community during this challenging time.

FeedCulver started back in 2020 in the early days of the pandemic and stay-at-home orders. It was a grassroots effort and partnership with the Exchange Club of Culver City Charitable Foundation, Culver City Chamber of Commerce, the City of Culver City and the Downtown Business Association.

This is a Patch social good project; Feeding America receives 100 percent of donations. Find out how you can donate in your community or find a food pantry near you.
