The Culver City League of Women Voters and the Culver City Council PTA will host a school board candidate forum next Thursday at the City Council chambers.
According to organizers, the forum will give residents a chance to familiarize themselves with the seven candidates running for just three seats on the Culver City Unified School District board in November.
An experienced moderator from outside Culver City will moderate the forum, which will include candidates Steven Mark Levin, Kathy Paspalis, Susanne Robins. Karlo Silbiger, Vernon L. Taylor, Claudia Vizcarra, and Robert Zirgulis.
Organizers said questions for the candidates will only be accepted prior to the forum through email at ca-south@smartvoter.org or by calling 323-743-3165. Questions must be submitted by Friday, Sept. 27 and will not be accepted at the event.Â
