French Bulldog Puppy Stolen At Gunpoint, Police Say

A French Bulldog puppy was stolen at gunpoint Wednesday, police said. Authorities are asking the public's help to find it.

CULVER CITY, CA — A 10-month-old, gray French Bulldog puppy was stolen at gunpoint this week, Culver City Police Department announced Thursday.

The armed robbery happened about 7 p.m. Wednesday in the 6000 block of Canterbury Drive, just south of Windsor Way, police said.

The victim had posted an advertisement on social media listing his French Bulldog for sale and agreed to meet with the suspect at the location to conduct the transaction, according to police.

The victim met with the suspect who asked to see the dog, police said. When the victim placed the dog in his car trunk area for the suspect to see, the suspect removed a semi-automatic handgun from his waistband, then grabbed the dog from the victim’s trunk and ran away.

The suspect was described as a Black man, about 25-years-old, around 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a blue sweater, gray pants and red shoes. He had a gray handgun. No name or further information was released.
