How To Recycle Christmas Trees In Culver City

Here's where to drop off your Christmas tree in Culver City.

CULVER CITY, CA — One of the worst parts about the end of the holiday season is often trying to figure out where to dispose of your Christmas tree. In Culver City, residents can either cut their tree up and place it in their green bin for pickup or take advantage of four locations to drop off trees through the month of January.

As part of the "Park your Tree" program, the city's Green Cart Collection will pick up trees directly from a residence. The tree should be stripped of all decorations, its stand and cut into pieces to fit inside a green cart. Green cars should be placed outside for regular pickup on collection day.

To drop off a tree, residents should remove all ornaments, decorations, tinsel and stand from the tree before dropping a tree at the following locations:

Los Angeles County's public works department also offers guidance for disposing of trees in incorporated cities, unincorporated communities and other unincorporated areas.
