Ike's Love & Sandwiches Opens Its Doors In Culver City

CULVER CITY, CA — It's official. Ike's Love & Sandwiches is now open in Culver City, bringing all the tasty sandwich options to SoCal.

The new store is located at 3895 Overland Ave., Culver City. Owner Shehadeh, founder and face behind the cartoon logo, was at the new location all week meeting local customers.

This is the 73rd location for the iconic sandwich shop, which is known for its world-famous Dutch Crunch bread and Ike's secret "Dirty Sauce," according to the company.

The menu features more than 800 unique sandwiches, including vegan and gluten-free styles. Plus, the new Culver City location opens with a special mural dedicated to the film industry.

Ike's also held a fundraiser before the grand opening this week to benefit the Culver City Education Foundation. All in-store and app sales were donated to the nonprofit to help enhance and provide more programs, support and resources for the Culver City Unified School District.

The company has plans to continue growing its fast-casual restaurant with other SoCal locations slated to open over the next three months in Carson, Del Mar, USC and Manhattan Beach. The beloved sandwich company is also hiring new applicants to be "Ikesters" in Culver City and other upcoming SoCal restaurants. People can apply on the website.

Ike's now has more than 70 locations across the U.S. in California, Texas, Nevada, Arizona and Florida. It opened its first small shop in 2007 in San Francisco under the name "Ike's Place."
