Man And Woman Suspected Of Armed Robbery In Culver City

A man and woman held a man at gunpoint and demanded his wallet Wednesday afternoon in Culver City, police said.

CULVER CITY, CA — Police are seeking two armed robbery suspects who held a man at gunpoint and demanded his wallet Wednesday afternoon at a parking lot in Culver City.

The armed robbery happened about 4 p.m. Wednesday in the 10900 block of Venice Boulevard, just southwest of Overland Avenue, according to the Culver City Police Department.

The victim told police he was in the parking lot when the suspects' vehicle pulled up next to him.

A woman demanded the victim's wallet while the man pointed a handgun at him and again demanded he give up his wallet, police said.

"In fear for his life, the victim handed his wallet to the female suspect," police said.

The suspects then drove away southbound on Prospect Avenue.

Police describe the man as white, about 40 years old, bald with a heavy build. The suspect was wearing a gray t-shirt and jeans. No further description was available.

The other suspect is described as a white woman about 40 years old with brown hair. She was wearing a blue shirt with a flower design. No further description was available.

They were driving a dark blue Volkswagen Jetta, police said. The model is older, possibly 2006.
