Meg Whitman Visits Culver City
The California Republican gubernatorial candidate talks about jobs, teacher pay and state pensions on Tuesday afternoon.
Gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman addressed a small crowd amid pallets of dietary supplement drinks and enhanced water at the Function Drinks warehouse in Culver City on Tuesday, illustrating her plan to stimulate California's economy by limiting regulation of small businesses.
Whitman also wants to lower the deficit by working with organizations to renegotiate state pensions. "The sheriffs in Orange County just renegotiated their pension benefits to take the retirement age from 50 to 55," she said.Â
