Pedestrian Killed On 405 Freeway In Culver City

CULVER CITY, CA — A pedestrian was hit by a car and killed on the southbound 405 Freeway in Culver City Monday morning, authorities said.

The man died at the scene of the crash, which happened near Culver Boulevard about 12:50 a.m., the California Highway Patrol reported.

The driver remained at the scene, and was not cited or arrested.

All southbound lanes were blocked, but two of the lanes were later reopened. All lanes had been reopened by about 4:15 a.m., the CHP reported.
