Rams Sign 2 Rookies, Release Nick Toon, Winston Rose and Wes Welker

The team signed receiver D'haquille Williams from Auburn and defensive back Jabriel Washington, who were both bypassed by the NFL draft.

LOS ANGELES, CA - The Los Angeles Rams on Wednesday announced the signings of receiver D'haquille Williams from Auburn and Alabama defensive back Jabriel Washington who were both bypassed in last month's NFL draft.

Auburn coach Gus Malzahn dismissed Williams from the team five games into the 2015 season, saying "When individuals fail to meet the expectations of our program, there has to be consequences. I gave D'haquille the chance to prove himself. I am disappointed that it did not work out."

Williams caught 12 passes for 147 yards and a touchdown in five games in 2015. He caught 45 passes for 730 yards and five touchdowns in 2014, but was suspended before the Outback Bowl for a violation of team rules.
