Real-Time Results: Culver City Election 2020 Voter Turnout
Culver City had nearly 20K voters cast their ballots in the Nov. 3 election, according to LA County preliminary election results.

CULVER CITY, CA — The votes are in for Culver City residents with 19,471 casting their votes in the 2020 primary election Tuesday, according to preliminary results Wednesday in Los Angeles County.
Culver City had 29,471 registered voters, with many casting their ballots by mail for city council, school board and Measures B and RE, LA County officials reported Wednesday.

Culver City Council: Yasmine Imani-McMorrin in the lead with 8,971 votes, followed closely by Albert Vera with 8,889 votes, Freddy Puza with 7,432 votes and Goran Eriksson with 7,345 votes, according to preliminary results Wednesday.
Darrel Menthe had 6,792 votes, followed by Heather Wollin with 3,236, Khin Khin Gyi with 2,519 votes, Robert "Mr. Z" Zirgulis with 1,717 votes and 1,141 votes.

Culver City Unified School District, Governing Board Member: Incumbent Kelly Kent in the lead Wednesday with preliminary reports showing 9,169 votes, followed by Paula Amezola de Herrera with 7,845 and Scott Zeidman with 5,004 votes. Anne Allaire has 4,026 votes.
Measure RE: 52.75% of voters said yes to Measure RE
Measure B: 55.49% of voters said no to Measure B
Locals voted by mail and in-person at voting centers on Tuesday and the days before the primary election. Culver City had 29,094 total registered voters, according to preliminary results.

According to the county, 16,114 Culver City residents voted by mail and a total of 19,471 cast their ballots.
