Video: Windows Broken At Culver City Businesses; Suspects Sought

Culver City police are seeking suspects in a series of recent window-breaking incidents at businesses.

CULVER CITY, CA — Culver City police Monday released security video of a vehicle believed to be involved with a series of crimes involving wind0w-breaking at businesses.

Multiple businesses had their windows shattered by apparent BB gun pellets over the last few months and police are seeking suspects in the incidents, according to Culver City Police Department.

Officers responded to two vandalism calls in the 11900 block of Washington Boulevard, near Kensington Road, April 12, police said. Two businesses reported that their street-facing windows were shattered.

The following day, three more businesses in the 12900 to 13100 blocks of Washington Boulevard sustained similar window damage.

Another business had its front window shattered by apparent BB pellets May 20 about 11:30 p.m. in the 12700 block of Washington Boulevard, police said. That same night, two additional businesses in the 11900 and 13300 blocks of Washington Boulevard reported similar damage.

Detectives obtained security video of a dark-colored 2005 to 2012 Range Rover Sport that was in the area at the time most of the windows were shattered. It's unclear who was driving the vehicle.

Police believe the suspect or suspects may be responsible for the vandalism, which caused more than $10,000 in damage to Culver City businesses.
