Woman Shot, Injured Near Culver City

CULVER CITY, CA — A woman was shot and injured near Culver City early Wednesday, police told Patch.

The shooting happened about 12:20 a.m. near the intersection of Culver Boulevard and Motor Avenue, Culver City police officials told Patch.

The victim, whose name was not immediately released, had two gunshot wounds, police said.

Culver City Fire Department took her to a hospital. A shooting investigation was underway and handled by the Los Angeles Police Department. The incident apparently happened somewhere in Los Angeles.
