Beauty Chain Sephora Opens New South Bay Location

LOS GATOS, CA – An upscale global beauty chain opened a new location in downtown Los Gatos last week.

Sephora opened the doors to its 50 University Ave #B260 store on Friday, the Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce announced on its Facebook page.

“It’s great to have a new business in this space, and we wish them lots of success,” the chamber wrote.

Sephora, founded in France in 1970, is known as desirable company to work for and a socially responsible enterprise.

It was recognized by Forbes as one of America’s Best Employers in 2018 and 2019.

Sephora scored 100 percent on the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Quality Index 2019, the national benchmarking tool on corporate policies and practices pertinent to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer employees.
