Cupertino Announces Holiday Schedules for City Departments

Many, but not all, offices will be closed for about a week.

CUPERTINO, CA -- The City of Cupertino on Dec. 20 announced the holiday schedule for its various offices and departments.

  • Cupertino City Hall will be closed Friday, Dec. 23, 2016 through Monday, Jan. 2, 2017 for the winter holidays.
  • Traffic and Parking: Parking regulations for street sweeping will not be enforced Friday, Dec. 23, 2016 through January 2, 2017.
  • Library: The Library will be closed December 24, 25, 31, 2016 and January 1, 2017.
  • Senior Center: The Senior Center will be closed from Friday, Dec. 23, 2016 through Monday, Jan. 2, 2017 for the winter holidays.
  • Teen Center: The Teen Center will be closed December 23, 24, 30, 31, 2016 and January 1 and 2, 2017.
  • Quinlan Community Center: The Quinlan Community Center will be closed Friday, Dec. 23, 2016 through Monday, Jan. 2, 2017 for the winter holidays.
  • Blackberry Farm Golf Course: The golf course will be closed Sunday, Dec. 25, 2016.
  • Sports Center: The Sports Center will be closed December 24, 25, 31, 2016 and Friday, Jan. 1, 2017.
  • Garbage and Recycling Collection: No garbage or recycling collection Sunday, December 25 and Sunday, January 1. Customers who normally receive service on Sundays will have their trash picked up on Monday, Dec. 26 and Monday, Jan. 2.
  • The Sheriff’s Office: The Sheriff’s Office will be closed Monday, Dec. 26, 2016 and Monday, Jan. 2, 2017. Police services in Cupertino are provided by the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office. For emergencies, call 9-1-1. For non-emergencies, call (408) 299-2311.
