Cupertino Man Dies In Motorcycle Crash In Santa Clara

The crash was at Kiely and Stevens Creek boulevards.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — A 30-year-old Cupertino man died after his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck early this morning in Santa Clara, police said.

Police responded to the collision at Kiely and Stevens Creek boulevards at 1:03 a.m. Police said the man was traveling west on Stevens Creek when he collided with a truck traveling south on Kiely Boulevard.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

The truck driver had minor injuries, was taken to a hospital and was later released, according to police.

Investigators are determining the cause of the collision.

The Santa Clara County medical examiner's office will release the identity of the victim once their next of kin is notified.
