Cupertino School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Cupertino is July 31 for Murdock-Portal and August 14 for all other schools. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The PATCH SCHOOL DISTRICT has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 10/16: No School for Students (Staff Learning Day)

November

• 11/10: No School (Veterans' Day Observed)
• 11/20 - 11/24: No School (Thanksgiving Recess)

December

• 12/18 - 1/1: No School (Winter Recess)

January

• 1/1: No School (Winter Recess)
• 1/15: No School (Martin Luther King Day)
• 1/26: No School for Murdock-Portal Students (Staff Learning Day)

February

• 2/19 - 2/23: No School (Spring Recess)

April

• 4/9 - 4/20: No School (Spring Recess)

May

• 5/18: No School for Murdock-Portal Students (Staff Learning Day)
• 5/28: No School (Memorial Day Observed)

• 6/14: Murdock-Portal Last Day of School
