Cupertino Students Make Deans List Across the Country

Congratulations to the following Cupertino students who were named to the Deans’ List of their respective colleges:

Lena M. Jenny, named to McDaniel College fall 2012 Dean's List with Highest Honors. Highest honors are earned for a semester grade point average of 3.90 or higher, high honors for a grade point average of 3.70-3.89, and honors for a 3.50-3.69 average.

Yuan Jin, named to Honor List of Oxford College, the two-year liberal arts division of Emory University located in Oxford, Ga., for the 2012 fall semester.

Eric Yu Named to Dean's List at Cornell University, College of Arts and Sciences for Excellence in Scholarship for the Fall 2012 semester.

Dennis Co, named to the Dean's list at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for the fall 2012 semester. The dean's list recognizes full-time students who maintain grade-point averages of a minimum of 3.0 out of a possible 4.0 and have no grades below "C." Co studies Computer Science.

Rachel Beck, named to Eckerd College's Dean's List for the fall 2012 semester. The Dean's List is compiled following the fall and spring semesters and includes students who completed at least four courses with a grade point average of 3.75. Rachel is majoring in Environmental Studies and Political Science.

Thomas Jennings, named to the academic Deans' List at Azusa Pacific University. Jennings is honored for a fall semester 2012 academic standing of a 3.5 or better grade-point average. Jennings is A Biology Major, who is joined by 1,698 other students receiving the same honor.

Jeremy Huey, named to the Dean's List at Berklee College of Music for the fall semester of the 2012 academic year. To be eligible for this honor, a full-time student must achieve a grade point average of 3.4 or above; a part-time student must achieve a grade point average of 3.6 or above.

Kevin Wilson, named to the Dean's Commendation List at Gettysburg College in Pennsyvania for the fall 2012 semester. College students with a quality point average in the range of 3.300 to 3.599 for a semester's work are placed on the College's Deans' Commendation List.

Jayant Narula, named to University of Kansas Fall 2012 Honor Roll. More than 4,450 undergraduate students at the University of Kansas earned honor roll distinction for the fall 2012 semester. He is the son of Anurag Narula and Karen Narula of Cupertino. He attended Monta Vista High School. Narula, a senior at KU, was named to the honor roll for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
