CUPERTINO, CA — A magnitude 2.8 earthquake struck near Cupertino on Saturday, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The quake struck around 10:06 a.m. just west of Cupertino, according to the agency.
Preliminary information from the geological survey's self-reporting feature shows that residents from nearby communities, including Mountain View, Palo Alto, San Jose and Saratoga, felt the temblor.
