Fatal South Bay Hit-And-Run Probed
Authorities have not yet released the deceased man's name.
SUNNYVALE, CA — Authorities are asking for the public’s help in their investigation of a fatal-hit-and run in Sunnyvale late Wednesday night, the city’s Department of Public Safety said.
Officers and Fire Department personnel responded at around 11:45 p.m. to a report of a person down in the roadway at the intersection of El Camino Real and Bernardo Ave.
A man was found in the roadway with life threatening injuries consistent with being struck by a motor vehicle, authorities said.

The man was treated at the scene and transported to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, authorities said. His name has not yet been released.
The involved vehicle left the scene before authorities arrived.
