Ramps Reopened On Santa Clara Central Expressway

Santa Clara Police had warned motorists to avoid the area or follow law enforcement's instructions on how to safety navigate the area.

SANTA CLARA, CA — Critical ramps on the Central Expressway in Santa Clara were closed for several hours as authorities removed large beams from the roadway, the Santa Clara Police Department reported at 3:15 p.m.

The southbound San Tomas to eastbound Central Expressway ramp and eastbound Central Expressway to southbound San Tomas ramps were affected. According to Santa Clara Police Dispatch, they have reopened.
