Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Car Burglary In Cupertino

CUPERTINO, CA —A man was arrested in Cupertino early Friday morning on suspicion of burglary.

According to Cupertino police, around 3:30 a.m., deputies responded to an apartment complex after receiving reports of a person lurking in the area.

When they arrived, they found a man identified as Michael Fox, 30, sitting in an allegedly stolen truck. Fox was questioned and was found to be on parole for burglary, police said. Fox also had a no-bail burglary warrant on him, police said.

The truck Fox was found in had been hot-wired and deputies found several burglary tools inside as well as drug paraphernalia, police said.

While searching the parking structure, deputies located another vehicle that had been broken into.

Fox was arrested and booked on several felonies and parole violation.
