Man Dies In South Bay After Colliding With Vehicle

SUNNYVALE, CA — A man died after being hit by a vehicle in Sunnyvale early Wednesday morning.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Maude Avenue and Borregas Avenue around 5:10 a.m., according to Sunnyvale’s Department of Public Safety. Responding personnel found a male with major injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene after life-saving measures were taken.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, police said. Police do not believe drugs or alcohol factored into the collision.
