Mothers Day Festival in Memorial Park Saturday & Sunday

Culinary shows from internationally known Taiwan chefs are part of the entertainment, along with dance and music performances.

If brunch is not enough, or you've got dinner plan and still want to do more with your mother, the World Journal's annual "Mother's Day Festival" is Saturday and Sunday,  10 a.m. - 5 p.m., at Cupertino Memorial Park.

After all, often what mothers enjoy is simply spending a little time with the family at leisure. The Chinese language newspaper's festival features live performances, arts and crafts vendors, and food prepared by some of the Bay Area's best-known food trucks.

Food also literally takes center stage as a form of entertainment. The festival features the main stage for dance and band performances—and culinary shows brought to you by international acclaimed Taiwanese chefs.

And, if you didn't get a gift for your mother, perhaps on your stroll, something at one of the crafts or gifts booths will catch her eye, and you can fortuitously swoop in and purchase for her.
