Nor Cal Ski & Snowboard Fest Set For Nov. In Santa Clara

More than 25 premier North American ski resorts, demonstrations and refreshments round out the activities staged at the county fairgrounds.

SANTA CLARA, CA — Although the San Francisco Bay Area is experiencing a heat advisory on the first day of fall, winter will be here in no time at all. And ski and snowboard enthusiasts always plan ahead — especially since the white stuff has already graced the mountains at Lake Tahoe.

With that, the Nor Cal Ski and Snowboard Festivals have dates set on the calendar for diehards wanting to get a jump on the season with the best deals and pure energy going into a season a year after one broke the record books.

The South Bay's at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds is scheduled for Nov. 8 through 10. All ages come from all over. The fest features about $1 million in merchandise with mega discounts, beer tastings, demonstrations and assorted entertainment. The latter includes:
