Recruiting High School Student Representatives For Safe Routes To School In Cupertino

The City of Cupertino is currently recruiting student volunteers who would like to represent their high school on the Safe Routes to School Working Group during the 2021-22 school year.

Cupertino Safe Routes to School strives to create a safer environment for Cupertino students and families to travel to and from school actively. Selected students will attend monthly working group meetings usually held the second Wednesday of the month at 4 p.m. and will share their ideas and experience around education, encouragement, and engineering elements to improve access for safe walking and biking for students.
Student representatives will be selected based on their passion for any of the following: walking, bicycling, or scootering to school; healthy lifestyles; safe transportation; or campus safety. If you'd like to apply, send your completed application by Saturday, June 5 to SafeRoutes@Cupertino.org.
